New Delhi: Sushmita Sen's latest web series 'Taali' has premiered on Jio Cinema. Many fans binge watched the show on Tuesday night and began sharing their reviews on social media. The social media platform X is flooded with glowing reviews of 'Taali'. Fans have been hailing teh Sushmita Sen led show 'courageous', 'great' and more.
In the web series 'Taali' Sushmita Sen plays the trans woman based on real-life activist Shreegauri Sawant, modeled on real life incidents, the show chronicles the journey and life of Shreegauri Sawant and her physical and emotional transformation from Ganesh to Gauri and their fight to get recognition from the state and law of the land.
Sushmita as Shreegauri Sawant also shows the story of motherhood and the brave battle against Indian laws to get recognition.
