TVF’s 'Panchayat Season 3' is all set to transport you to village Phulera, Block Fakauli, District Baliya, and to the life of Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar). The third season will premiere on Prime Video on May 28. The show over the two seasons has made a strong fan base that has loved the show for its simple yet entertaining storytelling. Directed by Dipak Kumar Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar, the show has many endearing moments that bring a smile to your face.  

When the show’s first season premiered, it was a welcome change amid numerous web series set in the hinterland that only had foul language, violence, and gore. An Engineering graduate Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar), has taken a job in the Panchayat office of a village named Phulera. How he navigates through rural life, learns the ropes, and starts knowing his way around the village and its people is the theme of the show. Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Chandan Roy, Faisal Malik also stars in the series.

The trailer for season 3 was released on Wednesday (May 15) and the official synopsis of the show reads, "As the Panchayat elections approach, both Pradhan and Bhushan camps engage in a fierce battle to uplift their public image. Navigating the murky waters of Phulera politics, Abhishek does his best to maintain his objectivity."   

Here's hoping Season 3 brings back the same level of verbal wit.
