‘Only Murders In The Building’ Season 4: What To Expect From Steve Martin, Martin Short And Selena Gomez's Hit Series

A fresh set of suspects and a relocation to Hollywood are revealed in the trailer of 'Only Murders In The Building Season 4'.

New Delhi: The fourth season of Hulu's smash show 'Only Murders in the Building' is almost here, and fans couldn't be more excited after seeing the trailer. The makers released the official trailer of the crime comedy series, giving fans a taste of what's to come as Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez—the fan-favourite amateur sleuths—investigate yet another murder case inside the Arconia.

Martin, Steve, and Selena are an appealing trio, and the series stands out for its snappy writing and fascinating story twists. Viewers and reviewers alike have come to love it as each season unveils new secrets and obstacles.

What Is ‘Only Murders In The Building’ All About?

‘Only Murders in the Building’ is a one-of-a-kind mystery comedy series that debuted on Hulu in August 2021. Steve Martin and John Hoffman created it. The show centres on a trio of strangers who share an Upper West Side apartment building: Steve Martin's Charles Haden-Savage, Martin Short's Oliver Putnam, and Selena Gomez's Mabel Mora. When a murder takes place in their building, they become amateur investigators after bonding over their shared love of true crime podcasts.

‘Only Murders In The Building’ Season 4 Trailer

The Season 4 trailer teases that the story will pick up just where Season 3 left off, with the three (Charles, Mabel, and Oliver) delving further into the murder investigation and maybe even making a trip to Hollywood to see the studio start working on a film version of the podcast.

From Season Three to Season Four: What's Next?

Season 3 of ‘Only Murders in the Building’ came to an end with the three amateur sleuths—Charles, Oliver, and Mabel—feeling accomplished. They had solved another baffling case, this one set on the alluring but dangerous Broadway stage. However, a terrifying turn of events erased their happy moment just before they could celebrate. There was an apparent emergency requiring their attention when Sazz Pataki, Charles' stunt duplicate, made an ominous entrance. Just as the three and the audience were about to exchange pleasantries, the unimaginable occurred—Sazz was shot dead in Charles' flat.

‘Only Murders In The Building Season 4' is almost here, and the stakes couldn't be greater. Charles may have been the intended victim in the horrific murder of Sazz, plunging the team back into a world of deceit. Oliver, Mabel, and Charles will discover Sazz's killer and their motivations in Season 4. The showrunners have dropped hints that the characters' prior deeds will be crucial to solving the current mystery. This suggests that the choices made by Mabel, Oliver, and Charles in previous seasons might have an impact on the events that unfold in the future.

This new mystery, along with many more that lie inside and beyond the walls of Arconia, will hopefully be revealed in the next season.

'Only Murders in the Building Season 4' Cast

Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short will all be back for more of their iconic performances as Mabel, Charles, and Oliver, respectively. Jane Lynch's Sazz, however, will definitely be back for good. The actress Meryl Streep, who plays Oliver's love interest Loretta, is the newest cast member to board the reprisal boat.

It is widely anticipated that the following season would include Da'Vine Joy Randolph as Detective Williams and Jesse Williams as Tobert, however, the remaining cast members have not been officially announced yet.

'Only Murders in the Building Season 4' Release Date

All the twists and turns of 'Only Murders in the Building Season 4' will be revealed on August 27th. The series will air on Hulu.
