Last month, the teaser of ‘Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins’ was unveiled at a Netflix event in Mumbai. The fast-paced teaser showcases Saif Ali Khan in multiple disguises as he sets out on an ambitious mission to steal the legendary Red Sun diamond. Netflix shared the teaser of the film with the caption, “Two masterminds, one priceless diamond and a heist spanning across the globe. Jewel Thief - The Heist Begins, coming soon, only on Netflix.”

Talking about the film Saif said at the event, "Siddharth and I have been talking about this film for a long time, and I've always wanted to do a heist film and a film like this. I couldn't have asked for a better co-star. And basically a lovely movie and I'm very excited."
The official synopsis teases the thrilling premise: “A powerful crime lord hires a jewel thief to steal the African Red Sun, the world’s most elusive diamond. However, the meticulously planned heist takes an unforeseen turn, leading to chaos, unexpected alliances, and a dangerous game of deception and betrayal.”
The film also marks the OTT debut of acclaimed filmmaker Siddharth Anand, known for blockbuster hits like War, Pathaan, and Fighter.
