New Delhi: The highly anticipated web series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ by renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali held its grand premiere in Mumbai on April 24. Ahead of its release on Netflix, Bollywood celebrities attended the event and shared their initial reactions to the series on social media.
The grand premiere of ‘Heeramandi’, hosted by Netflix India, saw the presence of celebs like Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Rekha, Mrunal Thakur, Rakul Preet Singh and others.
Genelia Deshmukh, one of the attendees, took to Instagram to share her excitement about ‘Heeramandi’, posting a photo with Bhansali and offering her review of the series. She wrote, “Just saw 2 episodes of Heeramandi and it has me craving for more. What a world, what a journey you take us through to Sanjay Sir. Mesmerised as always. Loved, loved, loved the entire cast and what a super effort by the crew too. Netflix, this is truly special.”
Harshvardhan Rane highlighted the series as having one of the best-written plots.
