Bigg Boss OTT 2: Cyrus Broacha Exits The Show Due To Family Emergency, Pooja Bhatt Says She Is Missing Dad Mahesh Bhatt For The First Time

New Delhi: 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' has been grabbing headlines every day because of one or the other twists and turns in the house. From Pooja Bhatt and Abhishek Malhan’s fight to Akanksha Puri and Jad Hadid’s kiss, the viewers have got enough reasons to get hooked to the show. Amid all the drama, Cyrus Broacha's journey inside the house has come to an end due to a family emergency. The comedian left the show on Sunday. 

JioCinema shared a statement on his exit. The statement read, “We regret to inform you that Cyrus Broacha had to take an emergency exit from Bigg Boss OTT 2 due to a sudden medical emergency in the family. As per Cyrus and his family’s request, we request you to allow privacy and understanding during this difficult period. Further details regarding the show will be shared in due course.” 

On Monday’s episode, Bigg Boss called Cyrus Broacha to the confession room and shared that his family has sought his exit owing to an emergency at home. He was asked to leave the house immediately. He didn’t meet the contestants before leaving and the housemates were informed about his exit by the Bigg Boss. 

Earlier, the comedian had also he had expressed his desire to leave the show on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode with Salman Khan.   

Meanwhile, in a new task, the contestants were called in pairs for a conversation while enjoying cupcakes, burgers, and fries. The contestants were allowed to hit the buzzer if they did not find the conversation interesting. 

Pooja Bhatt and Abhishek Malhan were called together, and they discussed about changing equations in the house.  

Abhishek also shared that he cried because he was missing his family especially after Weekend Ka Vaar, where co-contestant Falaq Naaz’s sister made an appearance. He said, "We can't deny the fact that we all have a mini Cyrus inside us who is terribly missing family and homesick and how after seeing Falaq's sister got his emotions triggered." 

Pooja shared that everyone is missing their families and has someone waiting for them in the outside world, but she's single and doesn't have anyone. She said, "Hum sab apne family ko miss kar rahen hain, aur hum sabka koi na koi bahar wait kar raha hai, but main single aurat hoon aur mera koi nahi hai ghar chalane ke liye." 

She also said that this is for the first time she misses her father, Mahesh Bhatt.
