Bigg Boss OTT 2: Akanksha Puri Says She Doesn't Regret Kissing Jad Hadid, Calls Him 'Stupid'

After her eviction, Akanksha Puri spoke about her kiss with Jad Hadid during a task in Bigg Boss OTT 2. Akanksha said she has no regrets about it and it was just a task for her.

Akanksha Puri and Jad Hadid’s kiss is one of the major highlights of Bigg Boss OTT 2 till now. Though the kiss made the two contestants trend on Twitter, Akanksha was evicted from the show on Sunday. Speaking about her kiss, Akanksha said she has no regrets about it and it was just a task for her. She also called Jad Hadid ‘stupid.’ 

In a conversation with the Indian Express, Akanksha said that it was important for her to do the task to make her team win and she treated it just like any other task. “I did three tasks that day, which eventually helped my team win. For me, the kiss was supposed to be just a task. I would have even kissed Pooja Bhatt or Cyrus Broacha if needed. I don’t regret my actions as it wasn’t anything personal for me. There were no feelings involved,” she shared. 

Reacting to Jad calling her a ‘bad kisser’ after the kiss, Akanksha told Indian Express, “Honestly, I was clear in my mind that this will be just a peck that we will hold for 30 seconds. He got carried away and started kissing me but I wasn’t using my lips as I had no feelings for him. That made him say that I was a bad kisser as I was not involved. But he is not my partner that I will kiss him nor was I instructed by my director to kiss a co-actor passionately. He didn’t understand that it was a simple task and complicated things for me and even him. It makes him sound stupid that we didn’t share a good kiss as that was never suppose to happen.” 

Salman Khan also called out the two for it during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. He said this type of content would not be part of this show. He also slammed the housemates for not stopping them from kissing on camera.  

He said that the show is not scripted and it was not necessary for them to accept the challenge. He said, “You are not playing some characters. No one asked you to do it. It’s not scripted.”
