When asked about her 'item number' in the forthcoming film "The Legend of Michael Mishra", Aditi said: "I don't call it an item number. I don't think in 2016 anybody should call it an item number. I think it's sad if anybody is calling a dance number an item number. You are referring to a girl as an item. Please don't call it an item number."
