Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kajol went down the memory lane and shared a throwback video on the occasion of World Bicycle Day 2021. The 46-year-old actress posted a clip from the sets of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ wherein she can be seen riding a cycle for the song ‘Yeh Ladka Hai Deewana’. While fans remember the iconic number for the chemistry between Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, very few know that the actress fell off the cycle while shooting. 

The ‘Baazigar’ actress lost her balance while riding the cycle and injured herself. She shared the throwback clip to wish the fans on Bicycle Day in her own special style. "And a very Happy Bicycle Day to you too #WorldBicycleDay," the caption for the post read.

How Karan Johar & Other Bollywood Celebs REACTED To Kajol’s Instagram Video? 

Karan Johar, who directed the film, wrote, “Oh god! I remember this so clearly! And can’t forget what happened after.”  

Manish Malhotra commented, “Remember this. We all ran towards you. Every song that you fell become a big hit.” The fashion designer mentioned that Kajol’s songs became popular if she fell on the sets while filming them. 

When Kajol Suffered Memory Loss After Falling Off A Bicycle 

SRK, who was paired opposite Kajol in ‘KKHH’, revealed in an interview that she suffered short term amnesia after falling on her face during the shoot. Karan Johar had to call Ajay Devgn on the set as Kajol only remembered him.  

Kajol won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in 'Kuch Kuch Hota'. The romantic comedy drama also starred Rani Mukerji, Salman Khan and Anupam Kher in key roles. It became the third movie to bag the four major awards (Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress) at the prestigious Filmfare Awards.

On the professional front, Kajol was last seen in ‘Tribhanga’. The family drama, which was directed by Renuka Shahane, premiered on Netflix on January 15, 2021.
