Taapsee Pannu Wraps Up Filming ‘Shabaash Mithu’
Taapsee shared a picture from the sets of the movie where all the women can be seen dressed in the Indian cricket team jersey.
New Delhi: Director Srijit Mukherji’s upcoming film ‘Shabaash Mithu’ is a biopic on Indian women’s cricket team captain Mithali Raj. Taapsee Pannu will be seen playing the titular role in this upcoming sports drama. Taking to her social media, the actress revealed that she has wrapped up filming ‘Shabaash Mithu’.
Taapsee shared a picture from the sets of the movie where all the women can be seen dressed in the Indian cricket team jersey. She wrote a note while sharing this picture that read, “8 ki thi jab kisi ne ek Sapna dikhaya tha, ki ek din ayega jab Cricket sirf gentleman’s game nahi hoga. The ‘Pink’ actress also shared a click from Lord’s stadium a few days back, wearing the Indian cricket team jersey. She wrote while sharing the post, “Soaking it in…The meta moment…#LordsStadium #WorldCup2017 #WomenInBlue Nearing the end :) #ShabaashMithu”.
The ‘Soorma’ actress shared a post on her social media revealing that her Telugu film ‘Mishan Impossible’ will soon hit the screens. She shared the news on the auspicious occasion of Diwali and wrote, “Seizing the auspicious day to put forth a small association for a film with big heart. #MishanImpossible yours Truly on screens in Telugu soon :) HAPPY DIWALI!!!!!”
Other than ‘Shabaash Mithu’ and ‘Mishan Impossible’, Taapsee Pannu will also be seen featuring in a lead role in ‘Looop Lapeta’, ‘Jana Gana Mana’, ‘Dobaaraa’. She also turned producer with her upcoming film ‘Blurr’.
