Sushant’s Former Assistant Says ‘Sara Ali Khan Accompanied Him On Thailand Trip’; Reveals Name Of Other People Who Went With SSR

New Delhi: Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend Samuel Haokip shared a post on social media in which he claimed that the ‘Dil Bechara’ star and Sara Ali Khan were ‘totally in love’ during the promotions of their film ‘Kedarnath’ in 2018. The Abhishek Kapoor directorial marked the Bollywood debut of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara. The romantic drama managed to do well at the box office. Samuel’s post grabbed a lot of eyeballs as he said that both SSR and Sara were inseparable during the promotional activities of ‘Kedarnath’. Rhea Chakraborty, while talking to a news channel, said that Sushant spent Rs 70 lakh on his friends on his Thailand trip. She claimed that the ‘Raabta’ actor lived life king-size and used to spend his money on friends and staff. Sushant’s former assistant Sabir Ahmed, in an exclusive interview with ABP News, has now revealed that Sara Ali Khan was also present on the Thailand trip. “Sara was a good friend of Sushant sir. They became friends post Kedarnath. We could see their bonding. We didn’t know if they were in love,” Sabir said. “We left for Thailand on December 30, 2018. We went there for the holidays. Sushant sir was doing fine before and after the trip. He had no issues. He himself made the plans for a holiday on New Year,” he added. Sabir Ahmed revealed the name of the people, who went with Sushant on the Thailand trip. He said, “We stayed on an island. We didn’t go out much except for one day when we went for swimming. There were seven people on the trip including Sushant sir, Sara Ali Khan maam, Siddharth Gupta, Kushal Zaveri, Abbas, bodyguard Mushtaq and me. We returned after three days.” When we contacted Sara Ali Khan for her response, her team said, “We don’t want to talk on this regard.” Samuel Haokip had penned a post last week in which she speculated if Sara Ali Khan parted ways with Sushant after the box office failure of 'Sonchiriya'. The film, which released along with Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan starrer 'Luka Chuppi', couldn't perform well. "I remember the time during Kedarnath promotions... Sushant and Sara were totally in love...they were inseparable... So pure and childlike innocence. They both had tremendous respect for each other which was so rare to see nowadays in relationships. Sara along with Sushant head genuine respect for everyone in Sushant's life...be it family, friends and even staff. I wonder whether Sara's decision to break up with Sushant right after Sonchiriya's box office performance was due to any pressure by the Bollywood Mafia," Samuel wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, the CBI officials interrogated Rhea Chakraborty for the third straight day at DRDO guest house in Mumbai. Sushant's father KK Singh, while talking to ANI, alleged that the 'Jalebi' actress used to feed poison to Sushant. The ED will probe Goa-based hotelier Gaurav Arya on Monday (August 31) morning in the alleged drug and money laundering angle in SSR's case. His name figured in the WhatsApp chats of Rhea Chakraborty, which were accessed by the agency.
