Sushant Singh Rajput's father had registered an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, her family members and others under various sections of the IPC at Patna's Rajiv Nagar Police station in July 2020. He accused Rhea and five other people of abetment to suicide in his complaint. The Supreme Court ordered a CBI probe into Sushant's death case on August 19, following which the Central agency started its investigation in the matter. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) are also investigating the high-profile case, which hogged all the limelight in the last few months. The NCB arrested Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty under various sections of the NDPS Act in September 2020. Rhea was granted bail in October after staying behind the bars for close to a month. Earlier this month, Showik walked out of jail after nearly three months.
