Seven years after the release of Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year' which was the launchpad of now Bollywood stars, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, the filmmaker is back with a new competition, a new set of students and a fresh batch of star kids to take on each other.
We are talking about Student of the Year 2 starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria in lead roles. The much-awaited trailer of the upcoming film was finally unveiled on Friday(April, 12, 2019)
From the last few days, makers of the film have been teasing fans with posters and behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the film for months and finally the trailer was dropped today.
The trailer gives you a major dejavu and might take you to your college days, Watch below:
The trailer gives us an insight of the film and its character that, while the ladies Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria are both in love with Tiger Shroff, the Baaghi 2 star is eyeing the Student Of The Year trophy. In between, there is heartbreak, fights and expulsion to deal with.
Directed by Punit Malhotra, the film was majorly shot in Dehradun and will hit theatres on May 10, 2019.
