The upcoming mythological thriller The Secret of Devkaali is set to hit theaters on April 18, 2025. Directed by Niraj Chauhan and produced under the Chauhan Production banner, the film weaves a gripping tale of destiny, power, and divine intervention.

The recently released teaser, accompanied by a striking poster, hints at the film's intense narrative. The poster showcases multiple faces merging into one, symbolizing the many facets of power and justice. At its center, a figure holding a Trishul stands surrounded by deer, depicted as a ten-handed deity—reflecting the film’s core themes of faith, justice, and hidden truths.

The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Mahesh Manjrekar, Sanjay Mishra, and Zarina Wahab, along with Niraj Chauhan in a pivotal role and Bhumika Gurung Malhotra in a significant character. Mahesh Manjrekar brings his commanding presence to a role that drives the story, while Sanjay Mishra’s depth and versatility add nuance to the narrative.

Zarina Wahab lends her grace to the role of Madhav's mother, adding authenticity to this mythological tale. In addition to directing, Niraj Chauhan takes on a key character whose journey is central to the unfolding mysteries.

 

Neha Soni, who penned the script, played a vital role in bringing the director’s vision to life with her impactful dialogue writing. Speaking about the project, Niraj Chauhan emphasised that The Secret of Devkaali is more than just a story—“it’s a reflection of age-old beliefs, human conflicts, and divine justice.”

Through Madhav’s journey, the film explores how faith shapes destiny and how the past continues to shape the present.

Shot in the spiritual landscapes of Mathura, Vrindavan, and Surat, the film promises breathtaking visuals and an immersive experience. The background score by Ali Aslam Shah, coupled with music by Javed Ali and Aslam Ali Shah, adds to the film’s grandeur. Mukesh Tiwari’s cinematography and the editing prowess of Lokesh Mallik and Sahil Ansari ensure a seamless blend of mythology, suspense, and drama.
