Sanjay Dutt Admitted To Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital For Cancer Treatment

Sanjay Dutt, who was diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this month, was spotted with wife and sisters Priya and Namrata Dutt outside his home while leaving for the hospital.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital for his cancer treatment on Tuesday (August 18). The actor, last seen in ‘Panipat’, was diagnosed with lung cancer last week. Sanjay was spotted with his wife Maanyata and two sisters Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt outside their home in Mumbai while leaving for the hospital. The ‘Khalnayak’ actor even waved at the paparazzi and asked them to pray for his good health. His wife wore a pink coloured outfit. The couple was snapped hugging each other before the actor left for the hospital. The ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ actor was admitted to Lilavati hospital after he complained of breathlessness and chest discomfort on August 8. A day after getting discharged, Dutt released a statement on social media, informing his fans that he is taking a short break from work due to medical treatment. He also requested his well-wishers to not speculate about his health.
Sanjay Dutt was spotted at Kokilaben hospital on Independence Day 2020 (August 15). He underwent several tests on Sunday (August 16) at Lilavati hospital. Speculations were rife that the 61-year-old actor would go to the US or Singapore for medical treatment. Contrary to the rumours, he will undergo treatment in Mumbai. The movie will premiere directly on Disney+ Hotstar on August 28. The Mahesh Bhatt directorial has remained in news ever since the makers shared the trailer last week. The trailer of 'Sadak 2' has become the most disliked video on YouTube in India. The film co-starring Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Pooja Bhatt is the sequel of 'Sadak', which released in 1991. It was earlier said that Sanjay will finish dubbing for 'Sadak 2' before undergoing treatment. The 'PK' actor has several exciting projects in his kitty including 'Torbaaz', 'Prithviraj', 'KGF: Chapter 2' and 'Shamshera'.
