New Delhi: Movie buffs have been eagerly waiting to see Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone together once again on the silver screen post ‘Tamasha’. The two Bollywood stars received critical acclaim for their acting and sizzling chemistry. It was rumoured that Deepika and Ranbir will reunite for Luv Ranjan’s next co-starring Ajay Devgn. "She is currently busy with her first production, Chhapaak, being shot in the capital, while Ajay is wrapping up Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Ranbir is juggling Brahmastra and Shamshera. However, the film is likely to go on the floors only towards the year-end by which time they would have wrapped up their on-going commitments," a source close to the film told Mumbai Mirror.

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor have also starred together in films like ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’. The two former lovebirds recently featured in a TV commercial and fans loved their chemistry. (Deepika and Ranbir in Tamasha) On the professional front, Deepika will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Chhapaak’, which is slated to release on January 10, 2020. Meanwhile, Ranbir’s next release is ‘Brahmastra’. The film co-starring Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy will hit the silver screens on Christmas this year.
