Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt's Wedding: Here's What Randhir Kapoor Has To Say
As per the latest buzz doing the rounds, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are finally going to get married in second week of April.
New Delhi: Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the most popular couples of tinsel town. Ever since the celebs began dating, fans have been eagerly awaiting to see them tie-the-knot. As per the latest buzz doing the rounds, the stars are finally going to get married in second week of April.
Reportedly, the couple had to prepone their wedding due to the deteriorating health of Alia’s grandfather Narendra Nath Razdan. The Bhatt family wanted the couple to get married as soon as possible.
However, when Ranbir's uncle Randhir Kapoor was contacted for the same, the veteran actor denied the reports saying that he has not heard anything about the wedding yet.
In a chat with Hindustan Times, the 'Kal Aaj Aur Kal' actor shared that he is not in Mumbai right now and hasn't heard anything about the wedding yet. He further added that if such a big wedding was happening at their house, somebody would have surely called him up and informed him.
Earlier, source close to the families had reported that Ranbir and Alia's marriage would be an intimate affair with close friends and family members. The wedding will be either a single day or at max, a 2-day affair.
Reports are also doing the rounds that the couple will tie-the-knot at the ancestral RK House in Chembur, where Ranbir's parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor also gpt married in the 1980s.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir and Alia are all set to cast a spell on the audience with their on-screen chemistry in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra'. The film marks the first on-screen collaboration of the couple, who reportedly fell in love on the sets of the movie.
Both Ranbir and Alia also have an interesting line-up of projects in their kitty. While Ranbir will be seen opposite Rashmika Mandanna in 'Animal', Alia Bhatt is gearing-up for 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' opposite Ranveer Singh. She also has Zoya Akhtar's 'Jee Le Zara' starring Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra along with her home productions' 'Darlings', that also stars her 'Gully Boy' co-star Vijay Varma.
