Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra expresses love for Delhi, says second trailer of 'Mirzya' will be launched here

New Delhi: Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is all set to launch the second trailer of his contemporary love story Mirzya in Delhi on Monday. Hailing from Delhi itself, Mehra said he has a special connect with the capital and it has always remained a significant place for him. "I really love Delhi more than myself. I am from Delhi and have studied here. So, I'm bringing my next back to my roots. This place is also a big market for us. Whatever we do here spreads not just to the entire country but also to the entire world. That is the kind of prominence Delhi has got," said he. After directing super hit films like 'Rang De Basanti' and 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'in Delhi, the filmmaker believes the city has come a long way. "Delhi is a melting pot for the country. It has carried such a beautiful history of Mughal era and its poetry and craft," he said. He will accompanied by his actors, debutants Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher. The film has also been creating a lot of buzz for its unconventional music. Produced by Cinestaan Film Company & ROMP Pictures and directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, 'Mirzya' releases on October 7.
