Raghava Lawrence Seeks Blessings From Rajinikanth Ahead Of Chandramukhi 2 Release

Raghava is reprising the role of Rajinikanth's iconic Vettaiyan Raja in 'Chandramukhi 2'.

New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Chandramukhi 2' will be released soon. The recent trailer launch of the upcoming film created much excitement among Kangana's fans while many are anticipating the release of the sequel of 'Chandramukhi'. Recently, Raghava Lawrence met with superstar Rajinikanth and shared a glimpse of meeting his teacher 'guru'. Raghava is reprising the role of Rajinikanth's iconic Vettaiyan Raja in 'Chandramukhi 2'.

On Tuesday, Raghava Lawrence visited Rajinikath's residence on Tuesday to seek the veteran actor's blessings ahead of the film's release. In the pictures, which have been doing the rounds on social media, we see Raghava touch Rajinikanth's feet and also embrace him. 

In a video that has also been doing the rounds, we see Raghava also congratulate the megastar for the success of his last film 'Jailer' which grossed some Rs. 650 cr worldwide.

Sharing a video clip of his meeting with the actor, Raghava wrote on X( Twitter), “Hi friends and fans. Today I met my Thalaivar and guru @rajinikanth to wish him for Jailer’s blockbuster success and got blessings for Chandramukhi 2 release on September 28. I’m so happy. Thalaivar is always great. Guruve Saranam (Teacher is everything).”

Helmed by P Vasu, 'Chandramukhi 2' is the sequel to the 2005 Tamil horror-comedy 'Chandramukhi', which starred Rajinikanth and Jyotika in the lead. 'Chandramukhi' was a massive blockbuster of its time. 

Produced by Lyca Productions and Subaskran, 'Chandramukhi 2' will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.

In 'Chandramukhi 2', Kangana plays a dancer in the king's court, who is known for her dancing skills and beauty. In the trailer, Raghava Lawrence portrays King Vettaiyan Raja.

The release date of 'Chandramukhi 2' was shifted earlier this month. Taking to Instagram, the film's production house Lyca Productions shared a short clip with the announcement of the new release date.

Sharing the video on social media, they captioned it, “Chandramukhi 2 release date has been pushed to September 28 due to technical delays. Vettaiyan and Chandramukhi will be back fiercer than ever. See you at the theatres with an extra special treat."

'Chandramukhi 2' will be released on September 28. Earlier, it was slated to be released on September 15.
