Mohenjo Daro vs Rustom! CHECK OUT the First Day Box Office Report!

Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan clashed at the Box Office with ''Rustom'' & ''Mohenjo Daro'' this Friday.  Both the movies opened to a thunderous response but the first-day box office report is here! Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh recently released the box-office collection of both the movies and the results were surprising! Hrithik in Mohenjo Daro vs Akshay in Rustom Taran Adarsh shared:

With 8.87 crores, Hrithik and Pooja Hegde's film did a surprising first-day collection. The trade analyst also gave away the numbers for Akshay Kumar, Ileana D Cruz and Esha Gupta's starer 'Rustom'.

The movie has become the fourth highest opener leaving Akshay's previous movie, ''Airlift'' behind by a huge number. However, Rustom just fell short to Akshay's 'Housefull 3' which is still in the top three highest engrosser movies of the year. Also: ‘Rustom’ REVIEW: Akshay Kumar starrer is INTRIGUING but not ENGAGING! Akshay’s movie also stars Ileana D Cruz and Esha Gupta in the pivotal roles whereas Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’ will mark the debut of Pooja Hegde. ‘Mohenjo Daro’  is about the protagonist falling in love with his enemy’s daughter. Akshay Kumar-Ileana D’Cruz starer “Rustom” on the other hand is reportedly a film based on the 1959 Nanavati case.
