These Cute Moments Between Kiara Advani & Sidharth Malhotra In BTS Video Of 'Shershaah' Will Make You Go Aww

Kiara Advani shared a heartfelt post to express gratitude towards the audience for making her new release 'Shershaah' a huge success on OTT.

Mumbai: Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Shershaah’, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video on August 12, has received an amazing response from the audience. The war drama, set against the backdrop of Kargil War, has managed to strike a chord with the movie buffs. Both critics and fans have praised the makers for bringing the story of Captain Vikram Batra on the screens and providing wholesome entertainment.  

Kiara Advani, who played the role of Sidharth’s on-screen fiancée Dimple Cheema, is overwhelmed with the success of ‘Shershaah’ on a leading OTT platform. The ‘Kabir Singh’ actress took to social media to share a heartfelt post to express her gratitude towards the cast and crew of the film and her fans. 

Advani said that she is honoured to portray Dimple Cheema in ‘Shershaah’ while sharing her post. She treated the fans with an adorable BTS video from the sets of the film.

“So many emotions right now. To Captain Vikram Batra, Thank you for moving us with the life you lived, and for Inspiring us with your personality and your bravery. We are all so proud to be a part of your story. To Dimple, I am honoured to know you and to portray a woman so courageous and committed; thankyou for sharing your personal story only because of your love for Captain Vikram Batra. Thank you for making us believe that pure and true love exist. My respect and admiration for you is boundless,” Kiara wrote. 

The ‘Good Newwz’ actress thanked Karan Johar and his production house for making her a part of the film. She also mentioned ‘Shershaah’ director Vishnuvardhan in her post.

To @vishnu_dir sir, Thankyou for being the best captain of our ship and making this story with pure passion and love. On the professional front, Kiara will be next seen in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. The horror comedy co-starring Kartik Aaryan and Tabu is slated to hit the silver screens on November 19, 2021.
