New Delhi: Actress Kareena Kapoor was present at a Fizzy Goblet footwear promotion event in Mumbai. A shoe-shaped cake was presented to her at the occasion beside a real one on a table, surprising her. Internet users are divided about the entire setup due to the hyper-realistic cake.

Kareena appears in the video, shared by a paparazzo account, wearing an orange one-shoulder dress. A real shoe and an edible version of it were displayed on a table in front of her. Kareena found it amusing that the two appeared to be identical. She chuckled while having difficulty determining which was the cake.

Kareena hesitantly sliced the cake with the knife she had in her hand. She even smelled the cake that was being used as a shoe. She chuckled as she said, "I am scared to eat this," to everyone at the press conference. Her words left everyone in the room in splits.

The actress also shared a video on her Instagram handle, where she can be saying, "Kya yaar yahan bulake joote khila rahe ho?" in a humorous way as she cuts the shoe shaped cake.

Reacting to the post, a user wrote in the comment, "Who keeps sandals near to cake, so unhygienic.” “What's wrong with this people? Making shoe as cake wired,” added another one. Someone also said, “Can we take a moment and appreciate the cake who made?”

Kareena arrived back in Mumbai last week, following a week-long family holiday in Africa. She was there with her husband Saif Ali Khan and their two sons, Taimur and Jehangir.

Kareena last appeared with Aamir Khan in 'Laal Singh Chadha'. Her next appearance will be in the upcoming movie 'The Crew' with Rhea Kapoor. Together with her, it also features Kriti Sanon, Diljit Dosanjh, and Tabu. She also has the upcoming suspense thriller from director Sujoy Ghosh, which is based on the novel 'The Devotion Of Suspect X'. Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma are also featured. Also, she is working on the upcoming, untitled movie from director Hansal Mehta.
