Mumbai: The upcoming movie ‘Shershaah’ is one of the most awaited movies of this year. Starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role, this movie also stars Kiara Advani playing the female lead. This movie traces the life journey of Param Vir Chakra awardee and army captain Vikram Batra and about his ‘courage and valour’.
Produced by Karan Johar, the makers of ‘Shershaah’ dropped the trailer of the movie. KJo shared the trailer on his social media and wrote, “Shershaah - Official Trailer Honoured to have been a part of recounting this incredible story of the brilliance & bravery shown by our Kargil War hero, Captain Vikram Batra (PVC). Experience this thrill with the #ShershaahTrailer, out now! #ShershaahOnPrime releases on 12th August!”.
‘Shershaah’ is all set to release on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on August 12, 2021.
Directed by Vishnuvardhan, this biographical war film will reportedly witness Sidharth Malhotra in a double role as Vikram Batra and his identical twin brother. Kiara Advani will reportedly play the role of Dimple Cheema, who supposedly never got married after Vikram Batra died and lived as his widow.
‘Shershaah’ will also star Nikitin Dheer, Shiv Pandit and others in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, other than ‘Shershaah’, Sidharthb Malhotra will also be seen featuring in ‘Mission Majnu’ and ‘Thank God’. Kiara Advani, on the other hand, will be seen starring in ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’.
