Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone will work together for the first time in Siddharth Anand's Fighter.

Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are all set to team up for the first time in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’. The upcoming film is India’s first aerial action franchise, which will be shot across different foreign locations. Hrithik and Deepika, who are one of the most sought-after stars in Bollywood, were snapped at Anand’s house on Friday (July 9) afternoon by the paparazzi.

Hrithik’s latest Instagram post has suggested that the cast and crew will soon travel abroad to commence shoot for ‘Fighter’. He shared photos with his leading lady Deepika Padukone and film’s director Siddharth Anand on social media.

The ‘Krrish’ star shared a series of selfies with the leggy lass wherein they can be seen flashing their million dollar smiles while striking a pose for the camera. The caption for the post read, “This gang is ready for take off.”

Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages, expressing their excitement on seeing the duo for the first time on the big screen.

‘Fighter’ is slated to hit the silver screens in 2022. Viacom 18 Studios has joined hands with Ramon Chibb, Anku Pande and Mamta Anand to produce the film. Yesterday, Viacom 18 Studios' official Twitter handle posted a tweet to announce that 'Fighter' will be country's first aerial action franchise.

“After a decade of entertaining you with hits that are close to your heart, we are all set to up the ante of your cinematic experience! Get ready to witness India’s first aerial action franchise #Fighter with @iHrithik and @deepikapadukone,” the tweet read.

Earlier in the day, Deepika and Hrithik were snapped by the shutterbugs for lunch at Siddharth Anand's house. The 'Padmaavat' actress was also spotted at Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office in Mumbai.

On the professional front, Deepika will be next seen in Kabir Khan's much-awaited flick '83'. The sports drama got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis in India. It is based on India's 1983 Cricket World Cup victory.

Deepika also has Nag Ashwin's next, Shakun Batra's yet-to-be titled flick and the Hindi remake of 'The Intern' in her kitty.
