Box-office collection: 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' earns Rs 12.25 crores on Day 1

New Delhi: Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ got released on Friday, March 10. Film has got good numbers on opening day and earned Rs 12.25 crores according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Movie stars Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in lead roles.  The film marks the second installment of a franchise that began with ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ in 2014. This is the third time that Alia and Varun are working together in a film after Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Student of the Year. Movie was released over 3,000 screens.
