Bhojpuri Actress Anupama Pathak Dies By Suicide In Mumbai

Anupama Pathak went live on social media before taking the drastic step. According to reports, the Bhojpuri actress was found hanging at her apartment in Mumbai.

New Delhi: In yet another shocking incident, Bhojpuri actress Anupama Pathak hanged herself to death on August 2 at her place in Dahisar, Mumbai. She was allegedly found hanging at her apartment. Before taking the drastic step, Anupama took to Facebook to share a video in which she said that she decided to end her life due to financial issues. She went live on Facebook and expressed her pain and asked people to not trust others. The news of Anupama's demise has shocked the industry as it is still coming to terms with the loss of Sushant Singh Rajput. Anupama Pathak cited two reasons for ending her life. She said that a person named Manish Jha took her two-wheeler during the COVID-19 lockdown in May when she was at her native place. The actress said that he refused to return her vehicle after she returned to Mumbai. Anupama also said that she had invested Rs 10,000 in a company named Wisdom Producer. However, the investment company failed to return her money after maturity in December 2019. “I had invested Rs 10,000 in Wisdom Producer Company on friend’s request. The company was supposed to return my investment after maturity in December 2019. However, they failed to return my money,” she said. In her last post on Facebook, Anupama wrote, "Bye Bye Good night."

Anupama had shared a post on Sushant Singh Rajput's case in which she raised questions on the investigation.

TV actor Sameera Sharma, who worked in several shows including ‘Jyoti’ and ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’, was found hanging from the kitchen ceiling at his apartment in Mumbai on Wednesday (August 5) night. A case of accidental death has been registered, a report in ANI said. We extend our deepest condolences to Anupama's family.
