BellBottom Trailer: Akshay Kumar's Spy Thriller Is Here To Take You On A Ride Full Of Thrills

Mumbai: The wait is finally over. The makers of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘BellBottom’ have unveiled the trailer of the much-awaited film. As expected, the trailer has proved to be an entertaining affair as it features high octane action sequences, foot-topping music and powerful dialogues. The espionage spy thriller, which has been directed by Ranjit M Tiwari, will release in 2D and 3D format.  

Akshay Kumar launched the intriguing trailer of ‘BellBottom’ at Delhi’s PVR Priya on Tuesday (August 3) evening. The adrenaline-packed trailer gave us a glimpse of Akshay’s character in the film. Khiladi Kumar plays a spy, who is a national-level chess player and can speak and write French. 

"Amongst multiple heinous airplane hijacks, India was made to face another such challenge in 1984. BellBottom, a RAW agent played by Akshay Kumar sees through the plan and thus, begins India's first covert operation. A story based on true events, led by BellBotom, that went on to create one of the most defining moments of the country," the description for the film on YouTube read.

Bollywood star Ajay Devgn took to social media to laud the trailer of Akshay's 'BellBottom'. He extended support to the 'Sooryavanshi' star for releasing his film in theatres.

"Congratulations Akki. The trailer of Bell Bottom is terrific. I’m so glad you are taking the lead in making it a theatrical release. With you in this endeavour. Always stay ahead," Devgn tweeted.

 'BellBottom' will hit the silver screens on August 19, 2021. The movie co-starring Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi and Vaani Kapoor will clash with 'Fast And Furious 9' at the box office.

'BellBottom', which promises to take the audience on an action-packed ride, became the first Hindi film to start and complete its shoot amid the COVID-19 crisis in 2020.

Trade pundits are expecting the much-awaited flick to perform well at the box office. Considering Akshay’s star-power and film’s trailer, industry experts believe ‘BellBottom’ can revive the fortune of Hindi cinema.
