New Delhi: With much anticipation of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue’, there is some happy news. The intriguing and spectacle-worthy trailer and the recently released romantic track 'Keemti' have been received very well by the audiences. Now, the fans and the audience can finally book their seats as advance bookings for the film have commenced within two days of its release. The news of the advance booking has brought excitement among the masses.

‘Mission Raniganj’ brings their favourite star, Akshay Kumar, back into the genre of unsung heroes after ‘Baby’, ‘Kesari’, ‘Airlift’ and ‘Bell Bottm’. The actor will appear as Sardar for the fourth time after ‘Kesari’, ‘Singh Is King’ and others. The highly anticipated film, which promises to be a cinematic experience, is also the last release of Akshay Kumar in 2023.

Makers announced the advance bookings of the film and wrote, “A step closer for you to witness the biggest Rescue Mission #2DaysToMissionRaniganj.”

The film centred on the life of a real-life hero, Jaswant Singh Gill, who raced against time and rescued the miners trapped in the flooded coal mine in Raniganj in November 1989. As the countdown to the film's premiere begins, moviegoers are hurrying to buy tickets so they don't miss out on the message that the highly anticipated film is set to impart. 

Recently, Akshay Kumar also virtually interacted with the students of IIT Dhanbad where he recounted his experience with Jaswant Singh Gill and said, “A few years ago, I had the opportunity to meet Jaswantji when he was alive. He was so humble, simple, and down to earth that it was genuinely an honour talking to him. There's so much truth and sacrifice in the inspiring stories of such unsung heroes that I would like to keep making films like that and tell today's youth about such great visionaries."
