Ajay Devgn’s ‘Counting Fingers’ Dance In Son Of Sardaar 2 Song Becomes Meme Gold

Ajay Devgn’s unusual dance step in Son of Sardaar 2’s new song Pehla Tu has taken the internet by storm, with fans comparing it to toddler finger-counting and calling it hilariously bizarre.

The makers of 'Son Of Sardaar 2' dropped a new romantic track titled 'Pehla Tu' on Monday, featuring Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur. Sung by Vishal Mishra and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, the song quickly grabbed attention. not for its melody, but for its unintentionally hilarious choreography that left social media users in splits.

Son Of Sardaar's song's dance step triggers memefest

While the song aims for romance, netizens couldn’t help but poke fun at a quirky dance step where Ajay and Mrunal link hands and dramatically point fingers in sync with the lyrics. The move sparked a flood of memes and cheeky comments online.

“Ajay Devgn finds new ways to ‘not dance’ in every song!” joked one user, while another threw it back to the infamous “Bass teri dhoom dhaam hai” step from Action Jackson, writing, “Still the winner is that dance move.” Someone else quipped, “Ye karte hue inhe hassi kese nhi aayi (How did they not burst out laughing while doing this)?” "How is she doing this with such a straight smile??????," read another comment.

The song shot in a graveyard

But what truly took viewers by surprise was the bizarre setting, a graveyard. Yes, you read that right. Ajay and Mrunal’s characters are seen romancing and dancing among tombstones. “Why are they dancing in a graveyard?” asked a baffled user. Another chimed in, “In the middle of a graveyard? Really? I’ve seen it all now.” Another one wrote, "Awkward moves, white people, graveyard! Alright!"

Questions were also raised about the pairing and overall vibe of the video. “Vishal's voice is looking so out of place with Ajay, and what is this choreography and pairing?” wondered a user. Another added, “So like composers don't even think now which singer's voice will suit the actor.”
