During the interview, Lee revealed that his character, Gi Hun, will not be competing against other contestants for the prize money this time. In a light-hearted "Yes or No" segment with Fallon, the actor was asked whether he would take on the role of the new Front Man, overseeing the deadly games. His cryptic response—a mix of yes and no—left fans buzzing with speculation.

Lee also teased that ‘Squid Game’ Season 2 will introduce quirky new challenges for the contestants. Elaborating on his character’s development, he previously told NBC News, “Squid Game really talks about justice and bringing people together. As an actor, immersing myself in Gi Hun’s mission shifted my perspective on these values.”

The second season, slated to premiere on Netflix on December 26, will delve deeper into the conflict between Gi Hun and the mysterious Front Man. Meanwhile, fresh participants will face off in the series’ trademark high-stakes games, fighting for the grand prize.
