Jungkook Surpasses His Band BTS On Spotify, ARMY Says ‘That's Growth’

New Delhi: The present ruler of Spotify is Jungkook, a member of the K-pop band BTS. The singer now has an outstanding 35,407,241 monthly listeners, surpassing his own band. He is the youngest member of BTS. His most recent song, 'Seven', which features Latto, immediately shot to the top of the charts and set new records. ARMY, BTS's committed fandom, is in an excitement as an outcome of the news.

'Seven' has been dubbed the song of the summer by BTS's ARMY, and within 24 hours of its debut, it shattered records on YouTube. As the first K-pop soloist to cross 35 million Spotify streams, Jungkook also showed the power he wields. He has experienced a remarkable increase in listeners and is currently surpassing BTS as an act. 

To celebrate the member's victory and his overcoming of his own group, fans have taken to Twitter with trending hashtags like Ended BTS and BTS vs BTS.

One of the greatest solo debuts in history, Seven continuously set records. The song remained on the Spotify global charts for a continuous 30 days.

The seven members of BTS - RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook - have all been actively working on or already released projects of their own, increasing their global reach. Meanwhile, J-Hope joined the military on April 17, making him the second member of BTS to do so after Jin done so the previous year.
