New Delhi: 'Brahmastra' director Ayan Mukerji, who is all geared up for the release of his sci-fi thriller drama in September, celebrates his birthday on August 15. Karan Johar is producing Ayan's film 'Brahmastra: Part 1' under his banner of Dharma Productions. Taking to his Instagram, Karan shared an endearing picture with Ayan where the birthday boy can be seen resting his head on Karan's shoulder as he dozes off while Karan looks upwards. 

Sharing the picture, Karan wrote, "Love is such a strong feeling and emotion… it can be divided and yet felt in abundance… I love you Ayan and feel protective about you as much as i do for my twins…. I know the decade( a whole decade) of work you have put into your film BRAHMASTRA … I have never seen anyone dedicate most of their professional lives to one project the way you have … What tomorrow or rather the 9th of September holds for us we can’t predict at this moment! But your commitment and hard work is already a victory! You just fly! Just soar! Just keep aiming high! Dreams are a reality if you truly believe them and I know you do! Mommy-to-be Alia Bhatt, who shares a special bond with Ayan, wished Ayan calling him her 'wonder Astra'. She shared pictures of herself with the director from the film's sets and wrote, "happy birthday my wonder-Astra. You amaze me everyday! I love you so much.

'Brahmastra' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, marks their first on-screen pairing and has already created much hype among the audience. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in key roles. Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen making a cameo as Vanarastra in the Ayan Mukerji directorial.
