Kangana Ranaut Reacts To Hansal Mehta's Tweet On Film 'Simran'
'Many times I think I would not have made it. There was no need for it. It made me sad, it could have been a better film. It had the potential for a big and good film', Hansal Mehta said.
Bollywood filmmaker Hansal Mehta recently took to his Twitter account and tweeted that film 'Simran' was the biggest mistake of his life. Now, Kangana Ranaut gave her reaction yesterday on Hansal's tweet by saying, 'That’s true Hansal sir, even you will agree with that, I stood by you and now you saying this, feel like singing 'achcha sila diya tune mere payaar ka (look how you have repaid me for my love)'.'

To this Hansal Mehta quickly responded and said, 'Firstly, the tweet wasn’t about you. Secondly, there are things that happened after the film that left me more than hurt. It made me sorely regret making the film. All said and done you remain a fine, fine actor. And you have my respect for that. And for your kindness.'
This is not the first time that Hansal Mehta tweeted about how bad film Simran was. On 30th January, Mehta tweeted about Anna Hazare, Arvind Kejriwal and film Simran and expressed how supporting them was the biggest mistake of his life. 'I supported him (Anna) in good faith. Like I later supported Arvind. I don't regret it. All of us make mistakes. I made Simran'.
He said in an interview to the Huffington Post, 'Many times I think I would not have made it. There was no need for it. It made me sad, it could have been a better film. It had the potential for a big and good film. I don't even want to think about it. After the release of the film, there came a time when I became mentally ill. It was a painful time. Every day. It is difficult to talk about it. The film has greatly affected my mental health. I took therapy. I was locked in my room like a prison and wanted to meet no one.'
He further added, ' To be honest, I used to enjoy a lot with Kangana outside the set and have had good moments with her. We have eaten together. We used to party. Everything was fine. But on the set she was not in control. I was not happy in this situation. She used to do everything on the set herself and started directing other artists. I lost money. I was financially weak for about a year and a half till the court had to go through money and legal issues. It was very difficult.'
