New Delhi: BTS member Jungkook was reportedly stalked by some fans who gathered outside the gym where he was working out. He laid out the scenario to his fans, saying that while he values the love and affection they offer him, he would really prefer it if people avoided the gym where he exercises.
“I wasn’t going to say anything. I’m really thankful that you guys are cheering for me, and sending me lots of interest and love. I’m really thankful. I really am,” Jungkook said.
“Please don’t come to see me when I am exercising. I was really surprised last time,” the k-pop idol added.
“I finished working out, and I had to go home. That time when we did that live broadcast. It was about 20 minutes or 30 minutes… 20 minutes before going home, and I turned on the live stream. I was going to go home, but there were people there. I’m really thankful for the interest you show me, but this was not an official schedule (I went to). So you know,” Jungkook said about the incident. The Korean artist also said that he’s human too.
In the midst of all the rumours, Jungkook also deactivated his Instagram account, but he explicitly stated that he did so solely because he didn't use it much.
BTS has tried to remind their fans to respect their privacy on numerous occasions. V (Kim Taehyung) had already discussed this and expressed concern over it on a V Live. He also explained why, despite wanting to board a commercial aeroplane like everyone else, they are forced to fly on a chartered plane.
A Korail employee was recently found to have accessed BTS leader RM's personal data at least 18 times since 2019 without permission. According to reports, the employee used the information improperly for personal purposes, such as making sure to reserve tickets near RM. Big Hit is looking into the matter and will take whatever legal action is required to retaliate against the employee.
