Hrithik Roshan Hints At Being Part Of Brahmastra Sequel: 'Fingers Crossed'

Hrithik Roshan, who is busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Vikram Vedha’, has hinted that he might be part of the sequel of ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva.’

New Delhi: Hrithik Roshan is busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Vikram Vedha’. The highly anticipated film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte. After ‘Vikram Vedha’, Hrithik will be seen in ‘Fighter’ opposite Deepika Padukone. Now the actor has hinted that he might be part of the sequel of ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva.’

There has been speculation even before the release of Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’ about the actors of the sequel. There was a buzz that Hrithik will be playing Dev in the sequel.

Apart from this, he is also rumoured to be a part of Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious film ‘Ramayana’.

During a recent media interaction for the promotion of ‘Vikram Vedha’, the actor was asked about these two projects and Hrithik hinted at the probability of being part of these projects.

"What is happening? Nothing is happening. Next 'Fighter' will start and then there is potential for others to be made, (including) the ones you spoke of. Fingers crossed," the actor was quoted as saying by PTI.

Hrithik’s next film ‘Fighter’ is touted as India's first aerial action franchise directed by Siddharth Anand.

Hrithik will be playing a dreaded gangster Vedha in ‘Vikram Vedha’, a remake of the 2017 Tamil blockbuster of the same name which starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi.

The neo-noir action crime thriller, based on the Indian folktale 'Vikram aur Betaal', tells the story of a tough cop Vikram (Saif Ali Khan) sets out to track and chase gangster Vedha (Hrithik Roshan). What unfolds is a cat-and-mouse chase, where Vedha - a master storyteller helps Vikram peel back layers through a series of stories leading to thought-provoking moral ambiguities.  While Vikram believes he is on the right side of the line and doing the right things, Vedha makes him question his principles and beliefs.

The film also stars Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani, Sharib Hashmi, and Satyadeep Mishra in promising roles.

'Vikram Vedha' is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks & Jio Studios and a YNOT Studios Production. The film is directed by Pushkar & Gayatri and produced by Bhushan Kumar, S. Sashikanth and Reliance Entertainment.

'Vikram Vedha' will hit the big screens globally on September 30, 2022.
