He will portray the iconic superhero He-Man in the live-action saga 'Masters of the Universe', based on the popular comic franchise. Fans have expressed mixed reactions on social media about this new and challenging project.

Actor Nicholas Galitzine to play He-Man

In a recent Instagram post, Amazon MGM Studios confirmed that 'The Idea of You' actor Nicholas Galitzine will be portraying the superhuman protagonist in 'Masters of the Universe'. Fans' Reactions

Fans shared their reactions in the comments. One fan wrote, "Nick is really the star of this era. I’m really happy for him." Another user posted, "By the power of Grayskull I have the power.' However, a section of users preferred Zac Efron and Alan Ritchson as the iconic superhero.

 

Masters of the Universe

Julie Rapaport, head of film production and development at Amazon MGM Studios, shared her excitement about the upcoming project, stating, “We’re thrilled to bring the beloved 'Masters of the Universe' to life and couldn’t be more excited to announce the immensely talented Nicholas Galitzine as our He-Man,” as reported by Variety. She added, “This reintroduction of the character and his universe will be an epic film that will delight audiences from here to Eternia.”

The film will be directed by 'Bumblebee' director Travis Knight, with Chris Butler writing the screenplay. The action-adventure film will be produced by Escape Artists' Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch, along with Mattel Films' Robbie Brenner.
