‘Harry Potter’ Actress Jessie Cave Reveals Her Newborn Baby Has Covid-19

Jessie Cave who played ‘Lavender Brown’ in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince revealed that her two-month-old baby boy has Covid-19 and is ‘doing well’. In an emotional post, she thanked NHS for its efforts towards the pandemic.

New Delhi: Jessie Cave who is fondly remembered for her role as 'Lavender Brown' in the Harry Potter movies series took to Instagram to reveal that her newborn, baby boy has Covid-19 but is doing well. She wrote that her baby is doing well but the hospital staff is being vigilant and cautious. She also talked about the new Coronavirus strain and said “This strain is super powerful and contagious so I do hope that people take extra care in the coming weeks.”
Cave welcomed her third child with musician-boyfriend Alfie Brown in October 2020. The baby was place in the neonatal unit soon after he arrived. Cave then thanked the National Health Service (NHS), the publicly funded healthcare system of the UK, for its efforts amid the pandemic. Cave, apart from being an actress, is a comedian and cartoonist. In 2020, she finished her first novel. The lockdown sent nearly 56 million people of England back to the full lockdown. The new highly transmissible variant of the contagion has led to a critical moment in the pandemic, several countries have banned flights to and from the UK.  Boris Johnson has cancelled his Republic Day visit to India due the nationwide lockdown.
