‘The Elephant Whisperers’, directed by Kartiki Gonsalves and produced by Guneet Monga, won the 95th Oscars for Best Documentary Short.

New Delhi: India made history at this year's Academy Awards, held on March 12 in Los Angeles during the 95th annual ceremony. On Monday, Indians rejoiced over two significant Oscar victories. ‘The Elephant Whisperers’, directed by Kartiki Gonsalves and produced by Guneet Monga, won the award for Best Documentary Short, while ‘Naatu Naatu,’ from SS Rajamouli's RRR, won the award for Best Original Music.

On Monday, the dairy company tweeted the trending subject, and by Tuesday morning, the comments area was overrun with loving emojis.

Guneet Monga is used to being on top. In addition to being nominated for a BAFTA, the director of 'Period: End of Sentence' won the 2019 Oscar for Best Documentary Short Subject.

In a response to Amul's tribute, Guneet Monga tweeted, "BEST BEST BEST - Love @Amul Coop."
