New Delhi: Bigg Boss OTT 2 Winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav, who got arrested in snake venom case has been framed, claim his parents. In an exclusive interview with ABP News, Elvish's parents said that their son is innocent and that people jealous of his popularity are "trying to bring him down."

Elvish's father Avatar Yadav said, "Main ek teacher hoon. Main bachchon ko padhata hun, kya maine apne bachche ko nahi padhaya hoga? Mujhe apni parvarish par garv hai aur main har janam me uska pita banna chahunga. Achche sanskaar diye hain humne....( I am a teacher. I have taught children. Wouldn't I impart the right teachings to my own son? I am proud of my upbringing and trust my child. I would want to be his father in every life. We have imparted good values to our son)"

Mother Sushma Yadav broke down into tears while saying that people are framing his son as he has achieved immense popularity at a young age. 

Avatar Yadav said that he met he met his son after his arrest and the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner denied all claims of admitting his involvement in snake venom supply at rave parties. He also said that all allegations against his son are "fake" and "baseless."

Elvish's parents also claim that there has been some misconception regarding his involvement in the case. "Wo ek hansta khelta bachcha hai. Usey enjoyment ki aadat hai. (He is a fun-loving person). 

Sushma Yadav said that the video clip showing Elvish with snakes is from a music video and that the clip is being used to defame his son. Elvish's parents said that they are facing a tough time and requested media not to spread negativity around their son.

 

Elvish Yadav Confesses During Interrogation

Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, reportedly confessed to the authorities the supply of snake venom at rave parties he organized.

According to an NDTV report, Yadav, who was apprehended in connection with the snake venom case, confessed during questioning that he was familiar with the other individuals detained for supplying snake venom last year.

The 26-year-old YouTuber, who initially denied any involvement in the snake venom controversy, admitted to encountering the accused at various rave gatherings and staying in contact with them.

Following his arrest on Sunday, he has been placed in judicial custody for 14 days.

Elvish Yadav Snake Venom Case

Five individuals were apprehended by authorities on November 3 at a banquet hall situated in Sector 51, where they were found in possession of nine snakes, including five cobras. Alongside, 20 ml of suspected snake venom was seized. 

Although law enforcement initially indicated that Yadav was not present at the event, they were exploring his potential involvement in the alleged use of snake venom as a recreational substance.

Maneka Gandhi, the chairperson of PFA and a BJP leader, accused Elvish of unlawfully selling snake venom and demanded his immediate arrest.

On November 4, Yadav was briefly detained by police for questioning while he was traveling with friends in a car in Kota, Rajasthan, before being released shortly afterward.
