Diljit Dosanjh Makes It To Coachella 2023 Line Up Along Side Ali Sethi, Blackpink, Fans Call It ‘Historic’

Diljit Dosanjh was featured in the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival's lineup for this year.

New Delhi: The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival's lineup for this year was unveiled on January 11 and features Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. The festival will run over two consecutive weekends, from April 14 to 16 and April 21 to 23, and boasts headliners Bad Bunny, Frank Ocean, and K-pop group BLACKPINK.

The presence of an Indian name on the list, owing to Diljit, caused many people to lose their calm. Some people expressed their excitement at being able to watch Diljit perform and mentioned having already purchased tickets for his event, but others expressed thrill at the possibility of hearing Punjabi music at Coachella.

At the festival, Ali Sethi, a famous Pakistani musician known for his Pasoori song, will also take the stage. Following the announcement of the Coachella 2023 lineup, music lovers expressed excitement for the artists. 

Jai Paul, Burna Boy, Dominic Fike, Bjork, Remi Wolf, The Chemical Brothers, Blondie, Rae Sremmurd, Pusha T, Charli XCX, Underworld, Wet Leg, and Weyes Blood are a few other notable performers.

As a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was postponed in 2020 and 2021, with performances by Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and The Weeknd among many others.
