Actress Urvashi Rautela has once again made headlines, this time with a rather unusual claim. Urvashi revealed there's already a temple dedicated to her in Uttarakhand and she now wants one in the South.
Urvashi Rautela has a temple in North India?
In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Urvashi shared that a temple has been built in her name near the famous Badrinath temple in Uttarakhand. “There is a temple in my name in Uttarakhand. If one visits Badrinath, there is a ‘Urvashi temple’ right next to it,” she said.
When asked if people actually seek blessings from her, Urvashi said, “Ab mandir hai toh woh hi toh karenge (It’s a temple, they will do that only)”. She went on to say that students at Delhi University even place garlands on her photos and call her “Damdamamai.”
“I am being serious about it. It is true. There are news articles about the same too. You can read them,” she told the host.

Not stopping there, Urvashi shared that she now hopes to have a second temple built in South India, especially as she continues to grow her presence in the regional film industry. “I have worked with Chiranjeevi Garu, and I’m working with Balakrishna. So I’ve worked with the topmost level people… and those are the people who have a massive fan following. Then maybe… uh, my temple coming soon,” she said.
Whether you take it as fan devotion or playful banter, Urvashi’s temple talk has certainly got the internet buzzing again.

Urvashi Rautela recently starred in the action-packed film ‘Daaku Maharaj’, which performed well at the box office. She also reunited with Sunny Deol after 12 years for the film ‘Jaat’, featuring in the song Touch Kiya.
