The runway show served as a heartfelt tribute to Rohit Bal, featuring an array of prominent personalities from different industries. Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, fashion designer JJ Valaya, and actors Eesha Gupta, Rahul Dev, and Mughda Godse also participated, walking the ramp in honor of the late designer.

Designer Rohit Bal's death
Rohit Bal, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 63 due to a cardiac-related issue, was a pioneering figure in Indian fashion. He began his career in 1986 alongside his brother Rajiv Bal at Company Orchid Oversea Pvt. Ltd. His first independent collection in 1990 marked the beginning of his illustrious career, shaping the landscape of Indian fashion.
After his death, a legal dispute arose over his will, with his close friend and former model Lalit Tehlan contesting it against Rohit’s family. Sunil Sethi, Chairman of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), was appointed as the executor. Sethi admitted he was surprised to be tasked with the responsibility, as it had never been discussed with Rohit.
Sethi assured that the process would be handled with transparency, awaiting further details from the legal teams representing both parties.
