'No Truth': Shabana Azmi Debunks Rumours Of Farhan Akhtar And Shibani Dandekar's Pregnancy
Veteran actress Shabana Azmi has put an end to speculation surrounding Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar's rumoured pregnancy report.
New Delhi: Some people on social media have started speculating that Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are expecting their first child. Veteran actress Shabana Azmi, who is Farhan's stepmother, put a stop to the claims by denying Shibani Dandekar’s pregnancy.
According to Shabana Azmi, who spoke exclusively to ETimes, "There is no truth to the reports."
Rumours started spreading recently that Shibani Dandekar visited Hinduja Hospital, leading some to speculate that she is expecting a child; the suspicion was fuelled by paparazzi sources.
The couple, who tied the knot in February 2022, has remained relatively private about their personal life, occasionally sharing glimpses of their life together on social media. Farhan and Shibani have not yet made any public remarks on the situation, despite the persistent rumours. The spokesman for Farhan Akhtar, meanwhile, quickly put an end to the rumours, telling Pinkvilla that the rumours were baseless.
In his work life, Farhan is preparing to helm the third film in the ‘Don’ series, which stars Kiara Advani and Ranveer Singh. He will also direct a female-oriented road trip film ‘Jee Le Zara’, starring Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra. Meanwhile, Shibani appeared most recently in ‘Made in Heaven 2’, a series created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.
