Actor Samir Soni recently shared that his wife, Neelam Kothari, got upset with him after he filmed intimate scenes with another actor, despite initially being okay with it. According to Samir, Neelam’s reaction changed after a friend of hers ‘instigated’ her.
In an interview with the YouTube channel GPLus, Samir explained that he was sent a script containing numerous kissing scenes. Before accepting, he gave the script to Neelam, asking if she was uncomfortable with it. He even offered to turn down the role, but Neelam, showing her support, encouraged him to take it, saying it would be “good for his career.”
Neelam’s reaction to husband Sameer Soni's intimate scenes
However, Neelam’s stance shifted once Samir had completed filming. “I finished shooting for the show and one day, I came back home, and she asked me about the show. She asked me, ‘How were the intimate scenes?’ I was like, ‘I will do whatever the director says.’ Luckily, the director was a woman. Then she asked me, ‘How frequently were these scenes?’ I thought this isn’t going well,” Samir recalled.
Samir mentioned that Neelam’s change of heart came after a friend of hers watched the show and ‘instigated’ her. He added, “Apparently one of her friends had seen the show and she had instigated her, ‘How could you let your husband do something like this?’ and all that. I told her that I showed her the script. At this point of time, I can’t say no to producers because they had already given me the script and I can’t say no to my wife.”
