Many users shared the video, claiming that Ranveer Allahbadia was expressing regret over his actions on the show. The clip shows Ranveer saying, "Mujhe isliye bura lag raha hai kyunki sab kaam band ho gaya (I feel bad because all the work has stopped) b*****d. I just feel I am guilty. Poori team ko aise expose kar diya. Meri wajah se poora kaam band ho gaya hai (I exposed the entire team. Because of me, all the work has stopped)." 

The clip is being shared with claims that it shows Ranveer admitting guilt after his controversial comment on India's Got Latent and the backlash that followed.

However, the clip is actually from a video Allahbadia posted three years ago during the second wave of COVID-19. At the time, he had tested positive for the virus, and the video was his way of sharing the experience. The original footage begins with him taking a COVID-19 test and saying, “Hi guys, I just tested positive for COVID.”

Controversy erupted on India's Got Latent after guest panelist Ranveer Allahbadia made an inappropriate joke, sparking backlash. Critics slammed it as vulgar, leading to legal action. Maharashtra Cyber Cell and Guwahati Crime Branch have filed cases against the show and several influencers, citing obscenity and violation of women's dignity.

As the investigation unfolds, influencers Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Makhija, Ranveer Allahbadia, and host Samay Raina are being questioned for their involvement in India's Got Latent.

Comedian and host Samay Raina announced on social media that he has deleted all videos of the show from YouTube and will fully cooperate with authorities.
