Ram Mandir Inauguration: Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor & Others Reach Ayodhya For Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Ceremony

As the ceremony prep begins, several celebrities from the B-Town and the South film industry were seen leaving for Ayodhya early in the morning.

New Delhi: The Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony will be happening in full swing today. As the ceremony prep begins, several celebrities from the B-Town and the South film industry were seen leaving for Ayodhya early in the morning. Among those who were seen leaving for the ceremony included the likes of ,Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Rajinikanth, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Rohit ShettyVicky Kaushal, and Ram Charan among others.

Amitabh Bachchan and his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan were seen at Mumbai's Kalina airport on Monday as they left for Ayodhya together. The veteran star was seen in a white kurta, pants, a beige half jacket and a grey muffler and sneakers. He was also seen carrying a text book with him.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan was seen in casuals. A video of the two was seen arriving in Ayodhya together. 

Soth megastar Rajinikanth was also seen at a hotel in Ayodhya. He received a warm welcome and was greeted by people with folded hands .

 

Among others who have reached the city for the auspicious occasion include Madhur Bhandarkar, Kangana Ranaut, Vivek Oberoi and Anupam Kher. 

Kangana Ranaut had arrived a little earlier for the ceremony. The actor had spoken to the news agency ANI where she had encouraged the people to keep the city clean. 

Speaking to ANI, she had said, "I wish to motivate people to pick up the broom by participating in this cleanliness drive. The city has been beautified and has a festive look about it going into the inauguration day."

Actor Jackie Shroff has also been part of this cleanliness drive launched by the BJP earlier this month which will continue till Monday, for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

Actor Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan were also papped at the Hyderabad airport befofe they left for Ayodhya. Chiranjeevi spoke with news agency ANI and said, "That is really great. Overwhelming. We feel it's a rare opportunity. I feel Lord Hanuman who is my deity, has personally invited me. Such an overwhelming feeling, what I have been undergoing. We are so fortunate to witness this Pran Pratishtha on this auspicious event, which will be in mind lifetime and history forever."

 

Meanwhile, superstar Pawan Kalyan also shared a video of himself travelling in his car to Ayodhya. The veteran star was seen in a traditional white outfit and a beige saw. He shared the video with the caption, "ai Shri Ram. On the way to Ayodhya…To witness ‘ Lord Rama’s Pran Prathishta..’ Lord Rama is the ‘Hero of our Bharat Civilisation.’And it took five centuries of struggle to bring back Lord Rama into ‘Ayodhya.’"
