Pakistani Actor Dodi Khan Calls Off Marriage To Rakhi Sawant, Leaving Her In Tears

New Delhi: Pakistani actor and businessman Dodi Khan has made a shocking and heartbreaking announcement: he is not going to marry Rakhi Sawant, despite having proposed to her before. The surprising news was shared in an Instagram video on Thursday night, which clearly shook Rakhi Sawant.

In the video, Khan gave Sawant an extended applause for her courage and resilience. Nevertheless, he called off the wedding by stating that he was motivated by the public's negative reaction. He said in Hindi, “Hello India and Pakistan, this is Dodi Khan. A few days ago, on social media, you saw a video of mine in which I had proposed Rakhi Sawant. I proposed her because I know her very well. When I started knowing her, I felt she was a person who loved god a lot. She has seen a lot of ups and downs in her life, she lost her parents but was with them when they were ill. A guy came into her life, you all know what he did to her. She has come out of a lot of trauma. She accepted Islam, went for Umrah, and changed her name to Fatima. I liked that a lot that’s why I proposed to her," 

He added, “I think that this is not acceptable to people because I have received a lot of messages and videos, and I cannot tolerate it. So, Rakhi ji, you are my very good friend, and will always be. You might not be able to be my bride, but I promise you that you will become the daughter-in-law of Pakistan. I will make you get married to one of my brothers."

To show her disappointment at Dodi Khan's choice, Rakhi used emojis depicting a broken heart and tears in the comments section. 

Earlier this week, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Rakhi opened up about her connection with Dodi, saying, “He is my love.”

For those who may not know, Rakhi Sawant has been married twice before: first to Ritesh Raj Singh, with their marriage ending shortly after their participation in Bigg Boss 15, and then to Adil Khan Durrani, with their marriage ending in 2023.
