Mika Singh Urges Saif Ali Khan To Increase Reward For Auto Driver Who Rushed Actor To Hospital; Singer Offers Rs.1 Lakh

Singer Mika Singh announced that he will reward the autorickshaw  driver Bhajan Singh with Rs. 1 lakh for taking Saif Ali Khan to the hospital on time after the actor suffered a knife attack at his own residence on January 16. As per reports, Saif has already rewarded the auto driver with Rs. 50,000. However, Mika Singh, took to social media, to repost a report about the reward and urged Saif to increase the amount to Rs. 11 lakh.

Mika took to his Instagram to write on his story a note that read, "I strongly believe he deserves a reward of at least Rs 11 lakhs for saving India’s favourite superstar. His heroic act is truly commendable. If possible, could you please share his contact information with me? I’d like to reward him with Rs 1 lakh as a token of appreciation.”

In another story, Mika referring to Saif's alleged Rs. 50,000 reward, urged the megastar to increase the amount and wrote, "Saif bhai isko Rs 11 lakh do. He is the real hero. Mumbai auto vala zindabad.” The driver, Bhajan Singh Rana, however, refused to disclose the amount he was paid, and if that was Rs. 50,000, saying he promised Saif that it will stay between them. 

Earlier, a video of Bhajan Singh narrating his entire interaction with Saif after his discharge began doing the rounds on social media. The auto driver shared that Saif personally called him on the day of his discharge and requested to meet him.

As per Bhajan's own narrative, he was greeted by Saif's family members, including his mother, Sharmila Tagore, and his children. The family expressed their thanks. Saif also clicked pictures with him and promised to stay in touch, saying, "Let me know if ever you need anything.”

Saif Ali Khan was discharged from the hospital on January 22, 2025, five days after being admitted. He underwent two major surgeries and sustained six injuries, including two deep stab wounds, with one affecting his spine.
