New Delhi: Shooting for Koratala Siva’s upcoming film 'Devara: Part 1,' starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, is presently underway in Goa. Recently, a video emerged online showing Jr NTR shooting scenes by the beach, generating buzz among fans. Janhvi took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her schedule wrap-up.
Sharing a picturesque sunset image captured in Goa, Janhvi expressed her eagerness to return to the sets of "Devara," stating, “Can’t wait to come back and be #Thangam again. #Devara.” In the movie, Janhvi portrays the character of a village girl named Thangam, adorned in traditional langa vonis. She joined the project last year and has been actively filming for it ever since.
About Devara
From the glimpses and posters of "Devara," it's evident that the story unfolds by the sea, featuring Jr NTR in a distinct role. The film is slated for release on October 10 and boasts a star-studded cast including Saif Ali Khan, Shine Tom Chacko, Prakash Raj, Meera Jasmine, Srikanth, Abhimanyu Singh, and others. Originally set for an April 5 release, the film's launch was pushed to Dasara. It marks Jr NTR’s next venture after "RRR" and Koratala’s subsequent project following "Acharya."

Janhvi's Upcoming Projects
"Devara" marks Janhvi’s debut in Telugu cinema. She has also signed Buchi Babu Sana’s project alongside Ram Charan, which recently had its launch ceremony in Hyderabad in the presence of the lead actors and producer Boney Kapoor. Shiva Rajkumar is also set to play a pivotal role in the film, described as a compelling sports drama.
Apart from her Telugu ventures, Janhvi is actively engaged in Hindi cinema. She is set to star in "Mr & Mrs Mahi" alongside Rajkummar Rao, directed by Sharan Sharma, slated for release this year. Additionally, she will feature in "Ulajh" alongside Roshan Mathew and Gulshan Devaiah.
