Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Zeenat Aman have joined forces for an ad campaign for a popular rice brand, and fans can’t get enough of their electrifying collaboration. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Shoojit Sircar, the ad has taken the internet by storm, bringing together SRK and Zeenat in a delightful, nostalgia-filled moment.

SRK and Zeenat Aman's collaboration

In the commercial, Shah Rukh is seen impressing Zeenat by cooking biryani for her. The connection between the two has added an extra layer of excitement, as SRK famously portrayed Don in the Don franchise, a role originally played by Amitabh Bachchan in the 1978 classic, where Zeenat starred as Roma.

Adding to the fun, the video features a scene where SRK is on a phone call with his wife, Gauri Khan, revealing, "Making a dawat for someone special." Zeenat, in her signature sunglasses, adds to the charm of the clip.

Fans' Reactions

Fans were quick to react, with one writing, "Don cooking for Roma?" Another commented, "The reunion we never knew we needed." A third fan excitedly noted, "Don with original Roma!"

Many SRK admirers also expressed their desire to see him in a chef’s role, with one suggesting, "Okay, can someone please cast him as a chef!! This is a perfect role for him – Cheeni Kum part 2 with actresses his age!" Praising his versatility, another user added, "If he unlocks this formula of working with older-age women in non-romantic yet unique stories, there’s no stopping SRK until his age of 80."

About Don franchise

The original Don (1978) featured Amitabh Bachchan in a dual role alongside an ensemble cast, including Pran, Iftekhar, Om Shivpuri, and Satyen Kappu. In Don: The Chase Begins Again (2006), SRK took on the titular role, with Priyanka Chopra stepping into Zeenat’s shoes as Roma, while Arjun Rampal, Isha Koppikar, and Boman Irani played supporting roles.

The sequel, Don 2: The King Is Back (2011), saw SRK reprising his role, alongside Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, Lara Dutta, and Kunal Kapoor.

Meanwhile, Don 3, which is slated for a 2025 release, will see Ranveer Singh stepping into the lead role, replacing Shah Rukh Khan. However, production has faced some delays, leaving fans eagerly awaiting more updates.
